SCRIPTURAL PRAYERS
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL THAT YOU USE AS THE PART OF YOUR DAILY CONFESSIONS
By doing this what you do here is you will start getting in line with
what God has promised you in His word.lets see how we are goin to use the holy scriptures to make a scriptural confession
.
we will take the all time favourite chapter for this from psalms 91.
Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Elyon will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
Psa 91:3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness
is your shield and rampart.
Psa 91:5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
Psa 91:6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
Psa 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come
near you.
Psa 91:8 You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 Because you have made LORD your refuge, and the Elyon your dwelling place,
Psa 91:10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
Psa 91:11 For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways.
Psa 91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
Psa 91:13 You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
Psa 91:14 "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high,
because he has known my name.
Psa 91:15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver
him, and honor him.
Psa 91:16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my yeshu`ah."
now the above given is the real struture of this chapter . what
do we do here to convert this chapter to a scriptural prayer:for that lets
take the first four verses and convert it.
His faithfulness
is your shield and rampart.
now for scriptural prayers we convert it to the following form . if you will carefully
watch the capital letters in RED ,what we have done
is i have changed it in such a way that two people are talking . if in this case God and You are talking.
Psa 91:1 I who
dwells in the secret place of the Elyon will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, "YOU are my
refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
Psa 91:3 For You O Lord is delivering ME from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4 YOU O LORD is COVERING ME with YOUR feathers. Under YOUR wings I
will take refuge. YOUR faithfulness is MY shield and rampart.
in this same manner if you will continue reading the chapters selected for confession what
happens first is
A.: you will get more Personal with God
B . then the
whole thing does nomore feel like a monolouge or to be put in a simple manner , you dont look like a cuckoo reading for the
walls to hear.
C. most of all faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word
of God
now i will give you some scriptural prayers that i have found
very useful in my life. You can make them too If you find it for any particular circumstances please send it to mee too.
